Marketing Analyst
CreatorIQ is looking for a talented Marketing Analyst to join our marketing team in Los Angeles. This candidate is a data storyteller -- they will be responsible for analysis and contextualization of both marketing and platform data for use in marketing initiatives. The Marketing Analyst will work closely with communications and insights teams to position quantitative takeaways in beautiful ways. They will also work cross-organizationally to unify reporting and concoct digestible KPI dashboards. The ideal candidate is an excellent written communicator and an organized self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:
- Permute and contextualize marketing and platform data in precise and meaningful ways
- Assist communications efforts by supplementing editorial initiatives with regular data pulls
- Learn and manipulate the CreatorIQ’s RESTful API
- Work cross-functionally with our Marketing, Insights, and Customer Success teams to develop KPI-driven reporting
- Leverage analytics tools to understand and model user behavior
- Assist in the construction and maintenance of tag management
- Build and maintain dynamic spreadsheets and dashboards
- Recommend segmentation and surface insights based on performance data
- Recommend and analyze multivariate (A/B) tests based on performance data
- Partner with Marketing, Insights, Product, and Operations teams to help identify and mend data gaps, source issues, and inaccuracies
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree, with a major or minor in a quantitative discipline preferred (e.g. computer science, digital marketing, statistics, etc.)
- Experience in calling, manipulating, and storing data via a RESTful API (JS preferred)
- Experience with digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
- High proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets
- Demonstrated understanding of social media marketing
- Strong oral and written communicator
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to details
- Curious, self-motivated thinker; asks ‘why’ and digs until the answer is clear
Huge plus if you:
- Understand influencer marketing and its common KPIs preferred
- Are knowledgable of data visualization and BI tools experience (Data Studio, Tableau, etc.)
- Have a baseline understanding of SQL databases
- Have knowledge of and applied experience in multi-channel marketing campaign tactics
- Have basic tag management experience (GTM, etc.)
