Job Description

The Manager, Amazon Strategy & Growth is responsible for shaping and driving the long-term growth agenda across the Amazon ecosystem. This role sits at the center of sales, media, merchandising, and analytics—owning the development of 1–3-year strategic plans that unlock sustainable, profitable growth. Acting as key support to the Director of Amazon,  this individual translates complex data and evolving market dynamics into clear, actionable strategies that align cross-functional teams and position the organization as a best-in-class Amazon partner.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of the 1–3 year Amazon growth strategy, defining clear priorities across assortment, pricing, media, and digital shelf to drive share and category growth
  • Own end-to-end business planning, including annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, prep for all customer T2Ts/QBRs, and long-range growth models tied to net sales, trade spend, and margin targets
  • Translate internal and external data (e.g., retail analytics, media performance, category trends) into actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and investment priorities
  • Drive integrated go-to-market strategies by partnering with Media, Merchandising, and Sales to align traffic, conversion, and supply for maximum total business impact
  • Identify and size new growth opportunities across the Amazon ecosystem, including new formats, emerging capabilities, assortment expansion, and innovation launches
  • Develop and execute event and promotional strategies (e.g., Prime events, seasonal tentpoles), ensuring alignment between demand generation and operational readiness
  • Establish and continuously refine forecasting methodologies that improve predictability and enable proactive business management
  • Build and scale strategic frameworks, playbooks, and best practices to elevate overall Amazon capability within the organization

Expected Experience & Required Skills:

  • 5–8 years of experience in eCommerce, strategy, consulting, or sales, with strong preference for Amazon or digital retail experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute long-range strategic plans that deliver measurable business impact
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience understanding P&Ls, trade investment, and forecasting in a complex retail environment
  • Advanced analytical capability, with experience synthesizing multiple data sources into clear insights and recommendations
  • Strategic thinking & growth mindset with the ability to operate across functions including media, merchandising, supply chain, and finance
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with a high degree of ownership and accountability
  • Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving alignment without direct authority
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into compelling, insight-led narratives
  • Familiarity with Amazon tools and ecosystem (e.g., Vendor/Seller Central, retail analytics platforms) preferred
  • High level of curiosity and learning agility, with a track record of identifying and scaling new growth opportunities

Work Environment & Schedule:

  • This position is considered a Remote based role that can be performed from a home office Additionally, this role requires work a salaried, exempt schedule to best execute against customer and internal expectations.

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$104,200.00 - $130,200.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
