Ring is seeking a Licensing Manager to identify, manage, and mitigate legal issues and risks to protect Amazons’ legal rights and interests. The Licensing Manager will act as a liaison between Legal, Operations, and Production. They will serve as a subject matter expert and Qualifying Agent, for Amazon, in the Electronic Security Industry.

What you’ll do

• Oversee the development and implement compliance programs and documentation, including risk assessments.
• Develop and administer compliance procedures and practices and operational control structures.
• Support the development/review of policies.
• Develop practices including metrics and tools to perform compliance reviews and control structures.
• Collect and analyzes data, research programs, lead initiatives and provide recommendations to resolve complex issues.
• Prepares leadership reports and provides readouts on status of programs and compliance reviews.
• Knowledgeable of regulations that impacts company programs.
• Deliver compliance training, oversee compliance training programs.
• Work with Third Party Suppliers to support compliance programs.

What you’ll need

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electronic security
• Knowledge of State/Municipal Codes and Laws
• Current holder of multiple state licenses
• Willingness to actively participate with Industry Associations
• Proven/demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience in security related field
• Knowledge of state and municipal laws and their application to private security
• Ability to work well with others, both within and outside the Company
• Possess strong analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of codes and standards related to the electronic security, surveillance, and fire industry
