As the dominant supplier of residential smart home video doorbell and perimeter camera technology, Ring is on a mission to reduce crime in neighborhoods. To support our rapid growth, we are hiring a Law Enforcement Liaison to join our Neighborhoods team. The Law Enforcement Liaison role is an outside sales position requiring 40-60% travel as you meet with new or existing accounts, present to scheduled gatherings, prospect for new opportunities and regularly communicate progress to inside account managers. Each of our accounts represent much more than a sale; these are strategic partners that will help us to achieve our mission. As a Law Enforcement Liaison, you will regularly meet with senior level staff, develop relationships with key decision makers and build a strong foundation for a successful account and partnership.
Responsibilities
- Extensive travel throughout the US
- Meet or exceed established targets for activity (prospecting, account management, etc.) and productivity (account acquisition.)
- Communicate actionable feedback and suggestions around sales and account management process and strategy.
- Review and uncover new business opportunities to further drive department goals.
- Train entry or junior level inside staff as needed.
- Perform other department and company related tasks or projects.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalent 5+ years in Outside Sales, Account Management, Client Services, or Inside Sales. Should have experience in cold calling, prospecting, and growing accounts.
- Demonstrate a history of successful negotiations with key decision makers that involve high-value and/or complex deal structures.
- Strong written and verbal communication. Should be able to present and discuss partnership opportunities with senior level representatives from all accounts.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the U.S. automobile and plane
- Ability to work outside of typical business hours if needed by an account or the company.
