Council Coordinator
We’re looking for a Council Coordinator to join Snap Inc! Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you will be responsible for overseeing logistics tied to the Council program, a program that is uniquely Snap. You will handle a wide range of responsibilities, spanning from marketing to event planning to coordinating program logistics.
What you’ll do:
Assist in creating and implementing our Council communications strategy
Maintain regular communication to all offices by sending monthly emails with updates and invitations to all upcoming Council events
Create editorial calendar
Serve as the team liaison with Legal, Finance, and all vendors to ensure non-disclosure agreement, contract, purchase order, payment and receipt documentation are completed in a timely manner
Oversee the transition into and implementation of event tracking software
Coordinate and attend culture-related activities on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis, as needed, in all offices
Organize, track, and manage all communications for team meetings and retreats
Oversee transportation and logistics for all retreats and events
Support the scheduling and placement of all Snap Inc. employees and teams throughout the company into Drop-in Councils, Team Councils, Leadership Councils, Gender Councils, and events
Regularly assess Council attendance data to determine any gaps in marketing, communications, and storytelling
Create and oversee global system to track individuals and teams attending events
Maintain Global Council calendar and stay up to date on the latest events, Councils, etc.
Assist with any other Council-related logistics such as maintaining team drives, team intranet page, etc.
Ad-hoc tasks as applicable
Minimum requirements:
2+ years experience handling coordination and administrative tasks
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Some marketing experience
Be a resourceful self-starter, have a strong work ethic, and be able to work in an evolving environment
You must be detail oriented and have strong problem-solving and decision making skills
Fluency in all programs under Google Suite (including Google Calendar, Sheets, Docs, and Forms)
Budget oversight skills
Data and evaluation experience
Expert in project management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team player who is also able to work independently
