Enervee is looking to add a Contracts Manager to its team to help structure, draft and negotiate a broad range of contracts, including but not limited to SaaS, IT, HR, marketing, professional services, and developer agreements. If you have strong leadership skills and have extensive experience collaborating across teams with exceptional time management skills, strong attention to detail, and talent for accuracy and precision, we would love to talk to you!
How You Can Make An Impact
Enervee’s Contracts Manager will own relationships up to senior and executive levels within assigned business unit(s) and lead reviews with business unit leadership to collaboratively plan and execute on contracts efficiently and accurately in addition to the following:
- Lead contracting process, including contract negotiations and development. Execute Purchase Orders, Change Orders, and Request for Proposals
- Negotiate contractual terms and other related commercial items to shorten time to close and ensure the best value possible while mitigating potential risk factors.
- Partner closely with legal counsel and stakeholders from other teams to develop and maintain contract templates to meet business requirements, align with company policies, mitigate risk, and establish consistency in contract negotiations
- Negotiate Data Processing Agreements, working closely with teams and legal counsel to address IP issues, privacy related issues (CCPA, etc.)
- Integrate work across relevant areas, developing strategies to enhance productivity, manage information and provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders
- Manage the development and optimization of contracting process and continuous improvement initiatives
- Setup and manage contracts archive
Job requirements
What You Bring To The Team
Enervee’s Contracts Manager possesses excellent judgement, superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines in addition to the following:
- 5+ years of experience directly managing and negotiating IT (SaaS) related contracts, including data processing agreements
- Degree BA, BS, or JD
- Track record in successful negotiations (be ready to give some examples), effective communication, and interpersonal skills
- Deep understanding of contracts, contract governance, contractual language, and the contract lifecycle
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to research and understand legal and financial implications
- Excellent understanding of the business and industry, its services, customers, and providers
Bonus points!
- Certifications a plus, but not required: Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), CIPP/US
- Prior experience working with program management at Utilities as well as representatives of Government agencies
