The Role
As a Lead Product Designer, you will drive design strategy and elevate design maturity at #paid through designing end-to-end solutions that shape the future of the Creator Economy. You’ll be responsible for delivering delightful, high-quality, user-centred solutions that balance business and user goals with technical constraints while collaborating closely with the product and engineering partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead large, scalable, cross-functional projects with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment
- Raise the team’s bar for craft and collaboration
- Build trusted partnerships with internal stakeholders
- Contribute and enhance our existing design system
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research
You're perfect for the role if
- You have 6+ years of experience designing and shipping high- impact solutions in a product-led organization
- You’re comfortable with ambiguity and can drive projects from zero to shipped with minimal oversight
- You’re comfortable setting a high bar for quality while pragmatically addressing the legacy debt
- You’re a systems thinker with a strong eye for patterns, cohesion, and scalability and connect your work with other initiatives across the company
- You’re comfortable explaining the rationale behind your design decisions and sharing your work early with the appropriate stakeholders
- You translate ambiguous business goals into clear problem statements tied to measurable impact
- You identify trade-offs quickly and help teams make informed decisions
- You have an experimentation mindset and know when to move fast versus when to invest on quality
- You give clear, actionable, respectful feedback and model healthy feedback loops early and often
- You’re comfortable defining your designs’ success metrics for your work validating solutions with users
- You celebrate failures for the learning they unlock and don’t take it personally when a solution doesn’t land. Your focus is on what works, not defending what you’ve created
- You’re comfortable designing for diverse user groups with at times competing needs
- You stay flexible when priorities inevitably shift and approach conflict with curiosity
- You have strong visual design skills with an understanding of the latest product design trends
- You’re comfortable contributing scalable reusable components to an existing system
