We had the opportunity to take remote internships for a test drive this summer and now we’re ready to welcome a few fall interns to the nest. If you're looking for a remote internship that focuses on experiential and event marketing in today’s world, look no further. This internship is only offered to current college students who are eligible for a class credit internship so you'll need to make sure this is an option with your school.
The Experiential and Event Marketing team is responsible for managing Hawke Media’s events to promote Hawke to the public and prospective clients and drive brand awareness, generate new leads and clients for the consultancy. Their ultimate objective is to produce events that generate new sponsorship and client opportunities for the consultancy. This includes managing Hawke Media’s annual conference, happy hours, and brand-building activations. This role will work closely with the marketing team to align all marketing and marketing communication efforts.
As the Experiential and Event Marketing intern, you will work with our Head of Experiential and Event Marketing this fall as we gear up for our biggest event of the year, eCommerce Week LA! This is a great opportunity to gain experience in an industry that has really had to pivot this year as well as learn the ins and outs of working at a digital marketing agency so you'll be ready to goooooooo "when this is all over™" and you've graduated (hopefully not on a Zoom call.)
What you’ll take from this internship:
- How to communicate- including but not limited to: event production, sponsorship pitches, content creation, creative design
- How to monitor event sponsorship deliverables to ensure all event sponsorship benefits are met.
- Cross department communication skills- Work closely within the internal marketing team which includes email marketing, paid social, social media, PR, branding, design & content to ensure all event deliverables are met
- How to conceptualize and execute Hawke’s digital event calendar including Hawke Media’s inaugural eCommerce Week LA in partnership with the city of Los Angeles.
