Product Management Intern - Summer 2020

We are looking for a detail-oriented Product Intern to support product management with in-progress initiatives. Your team serves as the link between customer feedback and the engineering team, successful candidates will combine user experience instincts with a critical understanding of how to get sh*t done. Day to day this intern will be involved with vetting product feature requests, competitive research, and product development processes. Above anything, Boulevard interns are excited, proactive, and ready to learn.
You will:
- Work closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to organize and prioritize feature requests.
- Work closely with the Product Management team to learn the product development lifecycle
- Collaborate with project management to prioritize production issues
- As part of a capstone project, research, scope and define product feature requirements
- Keep up to date on competitors and market trends, to inform Boulevard improvements
- Provide general support on ad hoc projects
You have:
- Have/are pursuing a Bachelor's Degree/MBA
- Superb time management skills, you have a checklist for everything and your motto is “10 minutes early is on time”
- Passion for the beauty and self-care industry, anything from haircare, to pedicures, to spa days
- Excellent communication skills, you can translate complex processes by speaking the language of both customers and engineers
- A knack for carefully considered, data-driven decisions, your 5-year plan is the stuff of legend
