We are looking for students aspiring to learn, make a real impact, and gain experience in product design to join our Summer Internship Program. Over the course of the 10-12 week program, you’ll gain real-world experience working alongside other designers and a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, product managers, researchers, and writers to deliver exceptional experiences to our users across our products. The ideal candidate is someone who is going into their senior year in a design-related field and is enthusiastic about the product design space.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Engineering to accomplish platform initiatives.
• Participate in daily and biweekly scrum ceremonies.
• Unpack problems and develop solutions based on guided research.
• Express design concepts through a range of UX deliverables.
• Prototype solutions at increasing levels of fidelity, working with a UX copywriter.
• Ship organized designs and sticker sheets, making it easy for engineers to get started.

Qualifications

• You’re a rising senior pursuing a degree in a design-related field.
• Basic knowledge of UX deliverables (journeys, flows, sketches, etc.) and when to use them.
• Basic knowledge of user research and human-centered design.
• Basic knowledge of software development and front-end technologies.
• A team player that’s willing to be coached.
• A strong portfolio that highlights the problem, solution and how you got there.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with promising interface and interaction design skills.
• Experience using Sketch, Figma and/or Adobe XD. (We use Sketch.)
