MISTER is the new boy’s club, a wellness brand for men that is aspirational and inspirational, helping you become the man of your dreams. As the creative intern at MISTER, you will be helping grow the brand from the ground up, supporting content curation, community building and shaping the editorial direction.

MISTER is currently an alpha stage brand being developed by Pardon’s Venture Studio. A day inside Pardon’s Venture Studio is full of endless possibilities for inspiration and creation. The Creative Intern works at the intersection of art and entrepreneurship as a member of our studio team to research and document alpha stage projects throughout their creative process. Our storytelling keeps brand groups across our organization aligned and informed while driving our ideas forward with our intended passion. A keen curatorial eye is key to keeping our content engaging and clearly articulated.

This role is a paid role/internship and is based in our Cannery Village, Newport Beach studio. Our 6-month internship cycles begin throughout the year. We kindly ask all applicants to provide reference to their portfolio, websites or social platforms that express their aesthetics and creativity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of creative processes for video and graphic creation
• An eye for detail when reviewing creatives, with a laser focus on spotting mistakes to ensure accuracy
• Highly organized, proactive self-starter, with demonstrated ability to plan and self-manage concurrent content pipelines and programs
• Extremely knowledgeable of the wellness and fitness industry, social media platforms especially Instagram
• Experience with Figma or similar design tools a plus
  

Responsibilities

• Report to the Brand Director and assist with production tasks including managing social media posts and strategy
• Attend creative brainstorms and contribute ideas for new types of marketing creatives across MISTER
• Create social media campaign posting schedules using various tools such as Figma, Photoshop etc
• Creating and presenting social media content rollout strategy tailored to target audience
• Manage social media community building efforts
• Plan in-person events and support in crafting photoshoots
