What you’ll do:

• Marketing Campaign & Holiday Research 
  • Compile and analyze data on historical holiday performance. Pull data on previous marketing campaigns, promotional strategies, and product-to-placement strategies 
  • Compile a competitive analysis. Look at what our competitors did last year during Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Christmas shopping seasons. Discover if there are learnings that we may want to apply for our holiday season this year. 
  • Support the Merchandising & Sales team in product category and expansion initiatives 
  • Gather ad hoc information to drive decisions on seasonal / holiday promotions 
  • Assist in initiative and seasonal reporting 
  • Assist the Marketing, Sales and Merchandising teams as they prepare for the holiday shopping season

• Support Merchandising department & its business objectives 

• Support Merchandising manager in daily data trends and deal performance review - learn how to use data analytics in order to make business decisions.
• Research product and shopping trends 
• Stay current on market trends
• Contribute to ad hoc merchandising projects 
• Build out product sale pages 
• Ensure sale pages are properly tagged for consistent data reporting 

About You:

• Analytical. Strong quantitative and problem solving skills.  Experience with Excel is a must, Google Analytics a plus. 
• Tech Guru. Strong familiarity with e-commerce, online content sites, tech and lifestyle products, as well as an array of social media platforms. 
• Organized. Highly organized with the ability to juggle several things at once and prioritize time-sensitive projects.
• Dedicated. You go above and beyond because you are driven to succeed.  You make educated, logical decisions but also know there’s a time for trusting your intuition, vision and heart.
• Detail-Oriented. You strive for perfection in everything you do.
• Teachable. You enjoy learning and are ready to be pushed out of your comfort zone.
• College Junior/Senior (Preferred)
