Media Buyer
System1 specializes in paid traffic acquisition at scale using leading data science techniques, growing audiences for our publishing sites and search engines across the globe. We are looking for a Digital Media Buyer to run PPC campaigns focused on the acquisition of audiences in International markets. You will join a team of multi-lingual PPC specialists engaging users throughout Europe, Latin America and Asia.
Our in-house PPC advertisers partner with data, software engineering and editorial teams to develop ads and deliver audiences to our sites with data-driven strategies, relying heavily on experimentation and testing. You will manage every stage of campaign performance (copy creation, testing, launch & optimization, lead gen & growth); work with large budgets and industry KPIs like CPA, CPC, and ROAS to optimize for revenue and profit; and communicate new leads and data insights in real-time.
The Role You Will Have
- Manage high-volume performance marketing campaigns across channels - such as Display, Search, Paid Social, and Native - with the goal of new audience acquisition in markets outside North America
- Develop creative and tested ad copy, and influence image selection based on user engagement data
- Collaborate with editorial, engineering, and data teams to enhance user engagement on landing pages and publishing sites
- Optimize large budgets in a bidded marketplace, using industry tools like GDN, Facebook Ads Manager, Taboola, Outbrain, and others
- Use Excel to manipulate large data sets for interpretation and reporting
- Work with the International Markets team to test new acquisition and lead gen strategies
What You Will Bring
- Experience managing full-funnel per-per-click (PPC) campaigns in any channel (display, paid search, paid social, native, etc.)
- Ability to create written ad copy in English
- Experience optimizing for buy- & sell-side KPIs in a bidded marketplace (CPC, CPA, ROAS, etc.)
- Experience working with complex datasets to understand performance and drive optimization strategies
- Experience with industry tools & ad networks (Google Display Network, Facebook Ad Manager, Bing Ads, Outbrain, Taboola, etc.) is a plus
- Advanced Excel fluency (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas, etc.)
- Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or other relevant certifications are a plus
- Additional language skills are not required, but fluency in Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Chinese, French, German, or Spanish is a plus
