What You’re Applying For:
Edmunds is seeking a full stack software engineer intern who will be responsible for front and back-end web development, who's passionate to learn about user experience, building fast web-pages and working with a great product engineering team. Come join a dynamic team who empowers Edmunds customers in their car research and shopping journey.
What You’ll Do:
- Build rich user experiences using the latest in front-end technologies such as React, NodeJS, SASS, and HTML5
- Develop javascript unit and integration tests for key webpage features;
- Work with an engineering team building different microservices-based applications;
- Learn how use various Amazon Web Services and frameworks;
- Develop and deploy new web features to empower edmunds customers who are shopping for a vehicle;
- Constantly improve the knowledge about Edmunds development stack;
What You Need:
- Understanding of the web application development process from client side through to server side via data store using AWS, NodeJS, ReactJS, CSS, Java, JavaScript, REST APIs;
- Understanding of Object-oriented programming;
- Practical experience of building fast loading web-pages that are SEO friendly;
- Willingness to learn new technologies, and how to implement them for the project needs.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
