Gameplay Machine Learning Intern

Are you pursuing an advanced degree in machine learning as it pertains to artificial intelligence or animation – or both?  Could your research toward that degree by applied to video games?  If so, how about a collaborative internship to apply, test, and continue to develop your ideas?  Interested?  Give us a shout.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with studio designers, animators, and programmers to apply machine learning as it relates to animation or AI research
• Write clear, maintainable, portable, and highly functional code
• Profile and optimize to remove bottlenecks
• Test and document code produced

Requirements

• Interest in building a partnership to apply working ideas to game development
• Experience with Machine Learning and AI
• Experience with Python and machine learning libraries
• Experience with REST API’s
• Sc. degree, plus progress toward a Master’s Degree or PhD in machine learning
• Enthusiasm and initiative
• Excellent spoken and written communication
• Able and motivated to work with other team members
• Commitment to code quality, documentation, and sound testing procedures
