FabFitFun is looking for a Front End Software Engineer Intern to join our team for Summer 2020! We are looking for Senior level students pursuing a BS or MS degree in Computer Science, that will be graduating in 2021. The ideal candidate will have an engineer’s curiosity and a hacker’s tenacity. In this role, you will apply your front-end coding skills to help solve real business problems at scale. This is an opportunity to work on a dynamic tech stack with tons of learning potential and mentorship in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

• Design and develop clean, maintainable, and performant software
• Write efficient and reusable front-end code 
• Help define development standards, procedures, and guidelines to improve the overall development process
• Work cross-functionally with our team of Engineers, Product, QA, and UX Design to incorporate their innovations and vice versa
• Research tools, techniques, and trends within the field 

What You'll Bring:

• Senior level students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• Experience with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML and an understanding of their cross-browser challenges and performance issues 
• 1+ years of experience writing high-performance, reusable code
• Previous internships or relevant projects within the engineering field
