We are looking for a creative, knowledgeable, and passionate editorial intern to join our growing team. The intern will assist with editorial, creative and content management tasks, such as research, fact checking, writing, copy editing, and brainstorming. The intern will have the opportunity to pitch original content and periodicals alongside the Creative Director, Content Coordinator, and Marketing teams. The ideal candidate will have writing experience, the desire to research and pitch creative story angles in the business and culture space and is driven to get their work noticed!

Responsibilities and Duties

Research relevant story topics and member news with the purpose of publishing
Ability to create well written content in a timely and consistent manner
Take ownership of an article from start to finish
Assist Creative Director and Marketing team in brainstorming & pitching creative angles on a wide range of topics including but not limited to; marketing, business, technology, music, design, culture, etc
Help shape the future and voice of cultural marketing
Potentially sit-in on interviews for editorial purposes
Research and present background information documents for interviews

Qualifications and Skills

Pursuing a BA or BS in journalism, broadcast media, or similar field is a plus
Strong writing skills (with available samples)
Ability to receive and incorporate feedback into work
Ability to work on deadline while maintaining a high quality of work
Previous blogging experience is a plus
Detailed-oriented and willing to work on a range of editorial tasks
Available a minimum of 2-3 days per week
