Design Intern

We’re looking for a Design Intern to join Snap Inc! As a member of the Design Strategy team, you will support and collaborate closely on a variety of projects – building out a library of assets consisting of mockups, infographics, videos/animations and presentations. Working from our Santa Monica headquarters/office, you’ll collaborate with designers, art directors and strategists to bring creative and innovative ideas to life. What you’ll do:
Design and produce a wide range of projects — sponsored filters, video advertisements, proof of concept presentations and collateral
Provide design support to creatives (art directors, designers, strategists, etc.) across creative development, production, and post production process
Contribute to the ideation process and brainstorms
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Functional knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, editing with Premiere, After Effects etc.)
Candidates should possess strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently pursuing, or a recent grad with a B.A. or B.F.A. in Graphic Design, Advertising, or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong illustration, editorial design and video editing skills a plus
Passion for technology and understanding of the Snapchat platform
