Cyber Security Intern

Ever wonder how hackers steal passwords, companies suffer data breaches and websites crash from DDOS attacks? If all things Cyb3r is what interests you, this internship is for you! We are looking for dynamic individuals with a thirst for knowledge that want to pursue careers in Cyber Security and related IT fields. 

Cyber Security interns will...

• Participate fully in information security team meetings and projects
• Gain an understanding and awareness of the overall cyber threat landscape
• Learn and utilize leading cyber security monitoring and testing tools

Put into practice the following general cyber security concepts

• Antivirus and Malware – basic concepts and threat analysis
• Network Security – penetration testing and vulnerability analysis
• Audit and Compliance – certification, policy implementation and compliance
• IT Project Management – Assist with current cyber security project initiatives

Do you have what it takes?

• At least a Junior pursuing a CS or MIS/related degree from a 4 year institution
• Strong problem-solving ability, willingness to be challenged and self-motivated
• Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills
• Experience with Windows, Mac and Linux/Unix an advantage
• Great attitude and hunger for learning
• 3.0+ GPA preferred

Our 12-week summer internship program is designed for rising juniors and seniors in college. Start dates include June 3rd and June 17th.
