Collab, Inc (collabcreators.com) is a Downtown LA based video creator development company and the leading independent network for multi-platform talent. Collab was started by veteran video creators to help make the lives of independent creators easier and to provide everything they need to succeed creatively and financially. We specialize in working with mobile video creators and helping them build their audience and earnings across multiple platforms (YouTube, musical.ly, Vine, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, etc). Our network includes over 400 top social media creators with over 700 Million Followers. We are also a digital studio that produces original shows for TV and digital platforms.

Collab is a digital content studio focusing on three major verticals: managing top tier digital creators, producing original series, and executing branded content campaigns. The branded content team (think Mad Men for the YouTube generation) is looking for a social media savvy, business-oriented intern to join our team. 

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Branded Content Intern to work closely with our Branded Content Team during the Spring semester of 2017 (~Jan-May, flexible work hours). This person should be knowledgable across a variety of social platforms, and should be interested in learning more about advertising & production across the digital space. Our interns will work closely with our team, gaining hands-on experience in the development, production, and launch of unique branded content and integrated marketing campaigns. We're looking for students with an interest in the behind-the-scenes elements of how these campaigns come to fruition. 

Our office is located in Downtown LA (a couple miles from the Staples Center). Interns should have a reliable vehicle and laptop . Parking fees will be reimbursed. Free lunch on Fridays. School credit only. 

Responsibilities

  • Creating daily Industry Trend reports to be shared internally across departments (memes and gifs encouraged).
  • Familiarizing yourself with our roster of top tier talent to be comfortable enough to suggest them for various Branded opportunities.
  • Conceptualizing creative campaign ideas and concisely presenting them both verbally and visually.
  • Working closely with the Creative Director in all aspects of branded content development, production, post-production and sales.
  • Working closely with the production and events teams to oversee completion of branded digital assets.
  • Act as a reliable and responsive liaison between the talent and branded content teams
  • Manage Brand team needs (ordering and organizing office supplies), scheduling meetings, and supporting as a PA on-set when the opportunity arises

Experience working in a marketing capacity a plus

Interest in production and experience with editing/shooting a plus
