Workplace Experience Manager
As TigerConnect continues to scale, we are looking for a Workplace Experience Manager to join our team and take ownership of our Santa Monica HQ and satellite offices, ensuring that we drive an even stronger workplace & employee experience - both virtual and in-office. This role will report to the Director, People Operations and work closely with the greater People team to understand the goals, objectives, and focus areas of the company to create an unparalleled work environment. They will be responsible for developing and executing workplace experience programs to enhance company culture through a variety of tasks to support the organization.
Someone who is self-directed and able to effectively plan and organize projects, enjoys collaboration, takes ownership, and is a creative problem solver will thrive in this role. They should also have a passion for people and a desire to help drive workplace culture and community. What You’ll Own:
- Oversight of the day-to-day operations of our Santa Monica, CA headquarters and related workplace programs
- Serve as the first point of contact for facilities issues and ensure prompt, best-in-class service is maintained whether issues are resolved in-house or by one of our vendors
- Maintain standards for office compliance (OSHA, required posters, etc.), including COVID-19 compliance, as well as preventative maintenance and office upkeep
- Work closely with cross-functional leaders to identify opportunities to enhance a positive employee experience
- Coordinate and facilitate company events and functions in support of employee engagement
- Understand and consider how new tools & technologies can support, accelerate and scale the delivery of improved workplace & people experiences
- Own the relationship with building management and our landlords, ensuring all systems are functional and issues are dealt with efficiently
- Work closely and form relationships with other teams globally to understand and accommodate ongoing needs of space as we scale
- Support the COVID office reopening process, adhering to all local conditions, and the ongoing application of COVID measures
- Maintain an active awareness and understanding of workplace experience trends and innovations that will be key to keeping our employee experience - virtual and in-office - fresh and relevant
What You've Accomplished:
- 3+ years of owning and creating people experiences in a workplace, ideally in a high-growth environment
- Proven skills in planning, budgeting, and project management software including a strong proficiency in Excel, Google Suite, etc.
- Experience partnering with building management and landlords on office refurbishments, maintenance, and other facilities-related projects
- Experience with creatively planning and executing employee events
- Ability to build effective work relationships at all levels, influence behavior, and lead change
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong problem solving, planning, analytical and troubleshooting skills with an intellectual curiosity to solve complex problems
- Effective interpersonal and leadership capabilities
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business situations, comfortable working in high growth, fast-paced environment
- Effective listener and communicator with the ability to influence actions and outcomes
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
