University Recruiter & TA Coordinator

As the University Recruiter & TA Coordinator, you will have an important voice as we strive to build a best in class Talent Acquisition function at Motional. You will be part of the University Relations team who is building a top early careers program to attract the best and brightest. You will have a direct influence on intern/ co-op hiring, program initiatives, building relationships with top universities, and working closely with our business partners to support and scale the intern program year over year in various ways. 

Responsibilities

• Execute on the end to end recruiting activities for intern openings.
• With guidance from the University Recruiting manager, build initiatives and events into the early careers program. 
• Participate in external events such as university careers fairs, major industry conferences, and diversity events. 
• Work with our university vendors to drive diverse talent into our early career pipeline. 
• On the talent acquisition team you will help design the candidate experience and look for ways to improve the Motional brand within the recruiting process.
• Help to manage candidate experience during the on-site/remote interview experience and deal with challenges as they arise. 
• Responsible for processing expenses as needed, and other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2+ years of related work experience or equivalent academic or military experience.
• Experience in a task driven environment
• Proficiency in Gmail and other G-Suite products
• Sense of urgency and strong individual time management skills
• Comfortable working to tight deadlines.
• Must be able to think outside of the box, be resourceful and have a positive attitude.
• Able to deal with ambiguity and take it in stride. 
• Willingness to travel to university events 

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous experience in a Talent Acquisition scheduling or University Recruitment role preferred
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems is a big plus. We use Greenhouse.
• Experience with stakeholder engagement and communication”
