SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Total Rewards Analyst will have a key role in supporting the strategic initiatives for the Total Rewards Center of Excellence (COE), which includes Compensation, Retirement Benefits, and Health and Welfare Benefits.
This position will contribute to the COE by supporting the overall management of our Total Rewards systems including Workday, Total Rewards Portals, integrations, and the alignment of non-system communications.

KEY FUNCTIONS
- Support the Total Rewards COE with the integration of our systems including Total Rewards Portal with vendor sites and Workday Compensation business process.
- Support the continuous improvement of existing Total Rewards programs. Contribute to change management and milestone plans to execute the delivery of new programs.
- Coordinates all Total Rewards communication materials including Total Rewards Portal, open enrollment, benefits offerings, and materials on the Total Rewards intranet site. Explore new techniques and materials to ensure clarity of programs.
- An integral part of the management of current and future enhancements of the compensation workflow and processes within Workday and the integrations with other HR specialty groups including recruiting, performance management, and talent management.
- Maintains and develops all compensation related training materials (employee and manager focused) including compensation planning and programs such as Job Aids, Compensation for Management training, and Spot Award marketing materials.
- Provides the compensation group with analytics and dashboards for efficient analysis of jobs, external market data as well as internal compensation program management. Support the cost management of compensation-related budgets.
- Maintain and run periodic as well as ad-hoc reports on compensation-related data from Workday. Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy of the data.
- Provide analytical support in the analysis of job descriptions, conducting evaluation and leveling of jobs, market pricing, FLSA classifications, and pay recommendations.
- Will support the responses for audits, when needed.
- Complete special projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 or more years of the relevant HR system, compensation, and/or HR work experience
- Experience with compensation principles, practices, systems, and methodologies
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical skills
PREFERRED
- HR certification (CEBS, PHR, SPHR, CCP) preferred
- Familiarity with or have experience with competitive pay practices in high tech firms, the space industry and/or FFRDC pay structure is helpful.
- Experience in Workday and Marketpay systems is preferred.
- Must be detail-oriented
- Ability to work and thrive in a team environment.

- Strong operational skills: able to handle multiple projects and priorities; able to make decisions in a timely manner, project management skills.
- Possess strong business acumen; current knowledge of HR trends, practices, technology; ability to connect tactics to broader strategies.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision, to self-initiate activities, and to work within timelines
