You will help shape our organization by sharing our company's story, vision, and culture both internally and externally. In this role, you will work directly with the Engineering, Data and Product teams to support our growth and ensure we hire the best in class! You will have the opportunity to shape and elevate the future of Tala by bringing in the most talented people possible. You will be able to develop your skills and play with new ideas as we deliver on our promise to the business - the right people, in the right role, at the right time. 

This role will be based out of our Santa Monica, CA office. 

In this role you will:

• Be responsible for sourcing and full-cycle recruiting for technical roles
• Serve as an internal consultant by conducting training, coaching interviewers on best practices and making sure we’re delivering a consistently exceptional candidate experience
• Provide all candidates with an amazing experience by being open, honest, and friendly throughout the process
• Strategize different ways to enhance our employer brand by building diverse talent pipelines, attending events, generating referrals, and managing community outreach activities

Who you are:

• Minimum 3+ years of technical recruiting experience 
• Experience in a high-growth, high-tech startup environment
• Experience with a web-based ATS, specifically Greenhouse
• Able to manage a full-cycle recruiting process in an efficient and effective manner
• Experience with progressive sourcing techniques including direct sourcing and internet data mining and recruiting techniques such search engines, Boolean search strings, LinkedIn and other online networking communities
• Strict attention to detail and focus on data integrity, documentation and visibility to hiring managers
• Proven success sourcing for hard-to-fill roles
• High level of self-motivation and ability to produce results independently, and under demanding deadlines
• Organized, able to work in fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks as well as adapt to business priorities that change quickly
