As the Team Operations Specialist, People, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective and efficient running of the overall People Team at Dave. In this role, you will work closely with the Chief People Officer and the rest of the team to identify and solve for anything that is getting in the way of the effectiveness of the overall team. Because you exist, the People Team feels connected to the Chief People Officer and to each other, clear on the People Team’s priorities and where the team stands in achieving them, and excited to be part of a well run team that is achieving beyond what everyone thought was possible.

What you'll do:

  • Facilitate the People Team’s OKR program in a way that drives clarity, excitement, and learning across the People Teams
  • Create and manage the department budget, ensuring that the Chief People Officer has a clear understanding of spend allocation and that the People Team, more broadly, feels transparency and ownership over how funds are used
  • Evaluate the means (e.g., meetings, processes) by which the People Team stays connected to each other and implement any changes to ensure ongoing effectiveness 
  • Keep a pulse on People Team morale, partnering closely with team members to identify and execute on plans to support team morale
  • Manage the calendar for the Chief People Officer and ensure smooth routines for other executive meetings and communication
  • Manage the Chief People Officer’s travel and expenses

What you'll need:

  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a cross-functional, dynamic, hyper-growth business
  • Previous success supporting C-suite executives
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Track record of partnering effectively with colleagues at levels in an organization
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a support role
