Sourcing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist to join our team. The Specialist will be responsible for sourcing and assisting our recruiters with recruiting activity and advising management on the hiring process of qualified candidates. This role will establish and maintain relationships with internal and external partners. The Sourcing Specialist will be flexible with being able to support multiple recruiters and internal support groups. This role will have a high volume of administrative duties that include sourcing and scheduling candidates, maintaining system clean-up, attending meetings, managing a small recruiting desk, and participating in special recruiting projects.
This is a Casual position (25-40 hours week). Teleworking option available.
Key Functions:
- Follow a consultative approach and strive to be a coach to candidates and an advisor to clients.
- Posts positions and reviews qualifications and duties to ensure compliance with policies and guidelines.
- Reviews internal and external applicant’s credentials for posted requirements and routes qualified talent to management as appropriate.
- Conducts interviews to recruit prospective employees and refer job applicants to specific job openings.
- Prepares employment offers and sets signature approval path in staffing system. Obtains salary recommendations
- Acts as liaison with internal partners and the recruiters
- Understands the matching skills/capabilities/aspirations of the potential candidates in a consultative manner
- Shares the short-listed candidates with the client group
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5 or more years of relevant HR experience
- Must have excellent customer service and experience within a client-facing environment.
- Experience working with various recruitment platforms including, but not limited to Workday, Successfactors, Taleo, LinkedIn, etc.
- Knowledge of recruitment principles and practices; be able to work well under pressure in a high-volume environment.
Preferred
- Must work well in a team environment
- Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Suite as well as HRIS systems
- Knowledge of federal and state law as it relates to HR programs
- Must have the ability to prioritize workflow and balance multiple activities
- Strong attention to detail
- Telephone and interviewing skills
