Senior Technical Recruiter at Dave Inc.
What you'll do:
- Run a full-cycle technical recruiting desk focused on hiring the best senior individual contributors and people managers for Engineering and Product departments
- Consult with leadership teams and hiring managers on their talent needs relative to the market and co-author an effective search strategy for each search
- Collaborate with Dave’s People Operations partners to ensure a holistic approach to the company’s technical talent needs
- Attract, influence, and convert hard to find passive talent by understanding the FinTech landscape and Dave’s employer value proposition (EVP)
- Partner with hiring teams to drive a structured, consistent hiring process that increases hiring efficacy, equity and diversity while improving overall hiring hiring efficiency
- Create diverse pipelines and coach hiring managers on how they can support developing a more diverse candidate pool
- Ensure a memorable candidate experience with regular and authentic communication throughout the recruiting process
- Build and maintain long term relationships with the appropriate passive talent to ensure a robust network for Dave’s future hiring needs
- Maintain good recruiting data hygiene and use metrics to inform search strategies and keep stakeholders up to date on recruiting progress against open roles
- Provide coaching to hiring teams on effective interview processes and practices including how to effectively prepare for, conduct, and evaluate interviews
- Remain grounded in Dave’s overall company business objectives and how they influence the requisite technical talent requirements and priorities
- Stay current on trends in the FinTech industry and the underlying technologies used across the industry
- Engage in TA’s kaizen for DE&I initiatives, employer branding, referral programs and candidate experience etc.
What you'll need:
- 5+ years of success as a full-cycle technical recruiter (a combination of recruiting agency and in-house experience preferred)
- Previous experience staffing and articulating the benefits of working at a fast-growing start-up organization preferred
- Demonstrated ability to understand a technology “stack” to match technical talent against job requirements
- Track record of consulting with hiring managers to build impactful, high performing teams
- Previous success supporting projects that amplify recruiting impact e.g. metrics & reporting, DE&I initiatives, employer branding initiatives, etc.
- Fluency in current recruiting technology including applicant tracking systems (ATS), sourcing platforms, campaign tools, and headcount management platforms
- Strategic thinker with high attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience
