A Senior People Associate who will be responsible for developing and executing upon detailed project plans for strategic human resources projects with clear identification of resources, dependencies, risks and milestones. Projects may include any range of human resources functions, from change management, employee relations to systems roll outs. The ideal candidate is extremely detail oriented with a passion for working cross-functionally.

What You'll Do

  • Advise & collaborate with People and Talent leadership to understand & develop projects that related to employment engagement, development, org planning and retention.
  • Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs.
  • Creates and manages project plans and teams to ensure project deliverables and completion dates are met.
  • Proactively oversees and evaluates project activities, builds contingency plans, and executes corrective action on a timely basis to mitigate risks
  • Coordinates with senior management and the People + Culture team to execute on change management strategies 
  • Contributes to the evolution and improvement of the team processes by providing feedback and sharing ideas that will increase strategic output, drive efficiency or enhance our technical capability.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes to the Talkdesk leadership team
  • Develops and maintains project budgets as required. 

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 3+ years of human resource management and project management experience
  • Professional human resource certification preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite or related software.
  • Ability to quickly learn our systems and tools
  • Experience working in hospitality or short-term rentals a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and in often ambiguous environments
  • Passion for working with cross-functional teams and internal and external stakeholders
