About the role and about You:

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Talent and Performance Management who will lead the Performance Management and Talent Planning Process at Zwift. This is a position on the People Team (HR Team) reporting to the Director of Business Improvement and Transformation. This is a new role in an expanding people function that will drive the development and management of a best in class goal setting, performance review and talent planning process.

What you’ll do:  

  • Lead the evaluation, enhancement, and re-imagination of the Performance Management process (goal setting and performance reviews) to ensure clarity of expectations, exceptional delivery of high-quality feedback, and meaningful outcomes following performance conversations
  • Serve as the program owner for Performance and Talent Planning at Zwift. This includes managing our goal setting process, twice a year performance review process, and talent and succession planning, continuously looking for ways to improve and scale
  • Partner with the Compensation team and People Partners to ensure we are embracing a high-performance culture by rewarding, and compensating employees based on performance (pay for performance philosophy)
  • Manage the Performance Management Workday workstream
  • Develop and own the Performance Management Calendar in partnership with People Partners
  • Support the development of talent calibration best practices, succession plans and targeted development plans for successors and other high potential talent
  • Continue efforts to foster a culture of quality conversations to ensure employees are continuously giving and receiving feedback, having ongoing career discussions to maximize their performance and potential

What we’re looking for: 

  • Minimum 7+ years of Performance Management, Talent Management and People (HR) experience combined
  • 4+ years in a high growth gaming or tech company required
  • Experience in leading Performance Management and Talent Planning processes 
  • Excellent program development and management skills
  • Proven ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, work independently and deliver results in a complex global fast paced organization
  • Expertise in navigating within ambiguous situations, with high levels of autonomy
  • Able to deal with change and desire to make a difference is paramount, we are looking for someone who loves to build from the ground up
  • Someone who is user-focused, passionate, scrappy, solutions-focused, and innovative
  • Current, in-depth knowledge of Performance Management best practices and trends, willing to think outside the box
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and storytelling skills; must be capable of communicating information to diverse audiences in a virtual environment
  • Strong business acumen and a track record of successfully partnering with People Partners, D&I and business leaders
  • Ability to create effective partnerships at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, consulting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to take multiple and complex inputs and concepts and distill into simple, relevant, and executable strategies that are pragmatic, easy-to-execute and drive impact
  • Prior usage of Performance Management and Talent Planning modules in Workday

 Bonus points: 

  • Experience with BOTH Performance Management and as an HRBP
  • Experience implementing Workday for Performance Management and Talent Planning modules
  • Passion for cycling, running and/or fitness
