Senior Benefits Manager
FabFitFun is searching for a Benefits Managers to join our People Operations team! Reporting to our Director, People Operations, this position will play a critical role in providing strategic design guidance, enhancements and development of a best in class Global Benefits programs. Ideal candidates will have experience building and leading global benefits programs utilizing the Workday Benefits portal.
What You’ll Do
- Manage, develop, implement, direct, and evaluate all employee benefits programs such as Medical, Dental, Vision plans; Section 125, Life Insurance plans; Short- and Long-Term Disability, Wellness Programs, and the company 401k program in Workday
- Manage policy-side of development of LOA, FMLA, Disability Programs, EAP, current and future company COVID-19 policies and other current and future work from home benefit policies, as the need arises
- Key point of contact for employee benefit questions; provide benefit information and answer questions in a timely manner; coordinates enrollment meetings and assist in onboarding and offboarding as it relates to benefits
- Reconcile insurance provider invoices (medical, dental, vision, disability) for accuracy
- Directly oversee and administer 401k program, Including, but not limited to: audits, uploading files from payroll, execute annual compliance notices, vendors and employees for education and collaboration
- Lead the review, negotiation and maintenance of various health and wellness brokers’ and vendors’ contracts, renewals, competitive positioning, funding, billing, compliance and plan descriptions, etc
- Design a new company Wellness Program, focusing on quantifiable programs which help minimize company medical costs while enhancing overall wellbeing of company team members. Program Focus: Physical, Mental and Financial
- Partner with technical resources and payroll to ensure accuracy of employee data and functionality of electronic data interfaces with vendors
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employee benefit issues, trends and regulations; network with peers, advisors, consultants, and regulators.
- Full management and oversight of Benefits HRIS reporting and analyzing, integration to payroll and workflow development or improvements
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or 6-8 years equivalent directly related experience
- 6+ years of HR/Benefits experience building global benefit and leave programs, including design, cost analysis, and implementation
- Experience working with Workday’s Benefits portal
- Previous experience processing payroll, a plus
- Benchmarking and strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills; must be a critical thinker with strong attention to detail, and quality assurance of work products.
- Expert knowledge of group medical/dental plan policies and practices
- Expert understanding of Federal and State regulations on Benefits, Retirement, Leaves of Absence
- Advanced communication and project management skills to navigate internal stakeholder management and vendor management with the ability to influence decision makers
- Self-motivated and ability to work well within a fast-paced and growing environment
- Proven track record in implementing and scaling HR processes, operations, and systems; experience implementing a new HRIS is a plus
