The Role 

We are looking for a People & Operations Associate to join our growing team. This role will primarily be focused on recruiting and people ops but will also manage general office operations. You will play an active role in supporting our growth and ensure that things are running smoothly and efficiently. Our ideal candidate has experience working in a fast-paced environment, is willing to learn, and ready to take on a lot of responsibility. 

The role includes but is not limited to: 

HR/Recruiting 

• Sourcing candidates 
• Conducting Phone Screens 
• Onboarding new employees to payroll, benefits, policies, procedures, and culture
• Lead culture initiatives 

Operations

• Point of contact for facilities, maintenance
• Office Inventory/supplies procurement & management 

Background and competencies 

• Bachelor’s degree (Business, HR Administration, or a related field preferred)
• 1-3 years of work experience in human resources, operations or related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to function independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Resourceful and a self-starter with the understanding of when it is appropriate to escalate and ask questions
• Ability to identify and drive process improvement efforts
• A clear understanding of brand, the recruiting process, and the importance of the candidate experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Gsuite required, Greenhouse ATS experience a plus

Bliss Point Media is a startup, and we’re looking for someone who finds that exciting rather than intimidating. We’re profitable and will offer a competitive total compensation package to the right candidates, with salary potential depending on skills and experience. This role is in Santa Monica.

After 60 days of employment, you will be eligible for our uncapped vacation policy. After 6 months you would become eligible for the BPM 401K.
