Our patent-pending Chair Systems have removable upholstery that can be washed in a home washing machine and easily interchanged for new styles, offering a stylish and convenient solution for families, pet owners, and active individuals. What You'll Do:
The People Coordinator is responsible for carrying out the Recruiting and HR functions for our Operations Team. The ideal candidate effectively communicates, demonstrates ownership, and gets excited about engaging with potential, new, and current team members on an array of topics. Given our small size, this individual must possess a willingness to wear many hats and help with ad-hoc initiatives.
Recruiting:
- Manage recruitment process for open roles in our manufacturing facilities (e.g. sewers, order fulfillment team members), from posting roles through different recruitment channels to converting applicants into new hires
- Review applications, coordinate interviews, conduct screenings, and administer skill-based evaluations (e.g. sewing tests)
- Interface with external agencies to supplement pipeline including working with temporary staffing agencies
- Proactively identify and execute on opportunities to improve our recruiting process (e.g. new recruitment channels, new screening questions)
HR:
- Conduct employee onboarding and training programs in accordance with company SOPs
- Assist in coaching/disciplining of employees, hearing/resolving grievances, and maintaining records
- Closely coordinate with Ruggable HR to ensure legal and company compliance
- Support employee engagement initiatives (e.g. lunches)
What You'll Need to Have:
Required:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field; or exceptional experience in a similar role
- At least 1 year as an HR Assistant or in an administrative support role
- Working knowledge of HRIS systems (employee management, applicant tracking, and benefits)
- Computer literacy and familiarity with G Suite, Slack, Zoom and other related business and communication tools
- Ability to own large projects and important relationships in fast-paced environment
