We are looking for a proven self-starter who has a passion for People to be a People Acquisition Specialist reporting to the Director of University Relations and Recruiting (UR&R). This individual will have exceptional communication skills and will love working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We are a mighty and progressive team and we are looking for an individual with a bias towards action. This is a highly administrative, service-oriented role, and you must have attention to detail and can prioritize functions in a fast-paced environment to meet due dates and deadlines.
What you’ll be doing:
Coordinating logistics for events including time-sensitive registrations, job postings, catering, booth/collateral material orders, advertisements, resume downloads, and invoice/expense processing
Serve as the primary point of contact with internal and external stakeholders for virtual, on-campus, regional. and national recruitment events
Ensure recruiting calendars are up to date and communicate logistics and status with hiring managers and team members
Schedule interviews, and update candidate activity in Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) or Applicant Tracking System (ATS) systems, as required
Support the team as needed by handling candidate communication and compiling sensitive data which facilitates the hiring of top talent
Contribute to process improvements that strengthen operating excellence
Be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and responsive to customers, communicate professionally and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
What you need to be successful:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 2 years experience working in a recruiting, human resources, event planning, academic or related environment with similar responsibilities
High-level proficiency in MS Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
Willing to travel domestically up to 25%
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance
