Manager, Stock Plan Administration

We are looking for a Manager, Stock Administration to join Snap Inc! Working closely with our Equity Administration team, you will manage the overall activities of compensation expense, including variance analysis and process improvement. Working from our Santa Monica, CA headquarters, you’ll collaborate with a team of finance professionals and business partners throughout the company.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure the proper taxation is applied to all equity exercises and releases
- Manage the stock administration system
- Serve as a liaison between transfer agent and broker
- Help answer any questions as it relates to the monthly JE preparation for all relevant equity transactions (exercises and releases)
- Prepare equity gain reporting for all payrolls
- Manage the monthly reconciliations of equity gain to payroll reports to ensure proper YE reporting
- Be responsible for data accuracy and reporting of all proxy disclosures and SEC filings
- Manage and respond to inquiries related to equity compensation data
- Help answer and account for stock-based compensation and transactions
- Optimize processes and procedures for scalability
- Maintain the Equity SOX narrative up to date
- Play a key role in general process improvements and process documentation for all facets related to compensation accounting
- Manage the mobility program from an equity perspective
- Provide support for other ad hoc analyses and projects as needed
- Work on other projects and task as assigned
What we’re looking for:
- CEP certified professional
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with excellent academic credentials, with an emphasis in finance or accounting strongly preferred
- 5+ years of stock administration experience
- Experience with U.S. federal and state taxation relating to equity compensation and general knowledge of global taxation of equity compensation
- Outstanding analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Pro-active, self-directed professional
- Exceptional analytical skills and strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookUps, etc.)
- Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, and ability to manage multiple matters
- Detail-oriented, business-friendly team player with an ability to accommodate tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
