InCloudCounsel is seeking a Legal Talent Acquisition Manager to join our rapidly growing company. InCloudCounsel offers unique opportunities for corporate lawyers looking to pivot from the practice of law to the business of law. We have a a growing number of Big Law alumni on our team working in sales, account management, and product. We are looking for a seasoned legal recruiter who wants to apply their legal recruiting background to a fun and growing tech company. 

InCloudCounsel modernizes legal processes, globally, for many of the world's leading companies. We offer scalable, end-to-end solutions for processing routine contracts and abstracting complex documents by pairing our worldwide network of experienced lawyers with AI-enabled software. We also offer the first purpose-built software tool designed to help funds manage their obligations. We are changing the way traditional corporate law is practiced and delivered. 

The Legal Talent Acquisition Manager will report directly to our VP of Talent and will receive a competitive compensation package, including full benefits. The preferred locations for this role are San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, or New York.

Responsibilities:

  • Full-cycle recruiting: own the recruiting process (including application review and interviewing) and ensure a positive candidate experience through all stages of the funnel
  • Sourcing: design sourcing strategies for key legal talent profiles and execute initiatives to build and nurture prospect pipelines based on current and future hiring needs
  • Relationship management: partner with General Counsel, VP of Legal Partnerships, VP of Sales, and VP of Account Management to develop and execute bespoke hiring processes and marketing strategies
  • Offer process: facilitate offer and closing process in collaboration with the hiring manager and VP of Talent
  • DE&I: leverage recruiting best practices to ensure a diverse pipeline of candidates in every hiring process; support Talent and company-wide initiatives to promote DE&I
  • Employer brand & marketing: work with VP of Talent and VP of Marketing to develop and execute employer brand strategy and market InCloudCounsel across multiple mediums to drive qualified inbound candidates
  • External partnerships: develop strong rapport with the alumni and career services departments at top law school and law firms and develop roadmap for advertising opportunities for their alumni at InCloudCounsel
  • Industry engagement: be an expert on trends and news in the tech and legal communities; engage regularly with talent in the industry and leverage your expertise to ensure that InCloudCounsel is a competitive and compelling place to work
  • Measurement & reporting: measure and report on key performance metrics to keep hiring managers informed, and to constantly improve the hiring process

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience: 5+ years of Big Law or Magic Circle in-house experience or legal search firm recruiting experience required
  • Recruiting tech stack: familiarity with recruiting tools, platforms, and applicant tracking systems; experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, Calendly, and GSuite strongly preferred
  • Interview skills: experience coordinating and conducting structured interviews to effectively assess candidates and make evidence-based recommendations to the hiring team
  • Communication skills: ability to communicate effectively with senior management and all candidates; demonstrate discretion, professionalism, kindness, and compassion in all interactions
  • Attention to detail: written and verbal communication is immaculate; detailed and accurate data inform your recommendations
  • Hustle: ability to execute, meet ambitious goals, and find creative solutions
