Learning Specialist (Freelance)

We’re looking for an experienced Learning Specialist to join our team and drive our mission to transform the way humans learn, work and collaborate.
The Learning Specialist is responsible for organizing and coordinating learning best practices with both internal and external clients and partners.
In this role you will:
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients and partners to develop and deliver individual and Train-the-Trainer sessions to support CoPilot Designer (authoring tool) for 3rd Party client engagements
- Recommend and support enhancements to Talespin's scoring rubrics, scoring model and data model
- Work with internal Data Analysts and Data Scientists and external Subject Matter Experts on learning analytics and refinement of Skills Ontology product and collect data on learner behavior to identify areas of opportunity
- Collaborate with the Learning & Experience Design (LXD) team on new learning module designs and implementation of improvements to instructional design processes
- Advise Learning Experience Designers as they develop user-centered designs that incorporate business requirements, research findings and user behavior metrics
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to advise on Learning internally & externally
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to advise on learning experience design, learning standards and innovations
- Provide advisement and support to LXD team during discovery/needs assessment and throughout design and development process to deliver high quality user experiences
- Provide general learning expertise, consultation and support
Experience we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 8 years in instructional design and/or game design roles
- Understanding of basic game design tenets
- Technical aptitude and quantitative research skills and experience to work with Data Analysts, Data Scientists and Engineering team
- Adaptable and tech-savvy, and able to quickly learn new technologies
- Experience consulting with Learning & Development (L&D) teams
- Experience advising L&D senior leaders on cutting-edge learning technologies
- Experience collaborating with all parts of a learning/gaming organization, including marketing & sales as well as technical team
