The role:
Golden Hippo is currently looking for a Learning & Development Specialist who will be responsible for designing, coordinating, conducting, organizing, tracking and maintaining onboarding, training and development programs to improve employee performance and ensure organizational productivity. Additionally, the role will coordinate, track, analyze and report on all people metrics.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like:
- Responsible for evolving, coordinating, delivering, organizing and maintaining multiple Learning and Onboarding programs: New Employee Orientation, Mentor Program, Anti Harassment Training, and continuous learning programs at all locations. Assist with Management Training Programs.
- Create and deliver new learning offerings for all employees, across several locations. Manage multiple training programs end-to-end across the business balancing different timelines, priorities, and deliverables.
- Analyzing metrics and feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and make recommendations related to the desired training outcomes.
- Use performance assessments to identify performance gaps where applicable; recommend appropriate solutions such as training, job aids, performance coaching or behavioral modeling.
- Develop and track efficient processes for tracking program participation, and program logistics in partnership with all HR subdepartments.
- Manage and maintain Learning Management System.
- Responsible for the organization, tracking, management, analysis, and reporting on all people metrics from hiring, to promotions, to exits on a quarterly basis.
- Contribute to initiatives across the HR Department, across all locations.
The Best Candidates Will Have:
- Combination of HR certification, education and work experience equivalent to preferred education
- 2+ years work experience in program management, adult learning, learning & development, instructional design and e-learning
- Strong Excel and Powerpoint or Google equivalent
- Learning program management, content design, and facilitation
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and locations
- Excellent presentation skills and a positive demeanor
- Use proven instructional systems design methods to develop instructional strategies for identified training needs
- A fast learner, self-motivated, and deeply curious about learning and development
- Creative and resourceful with the knack for building and streamlining processes
- Aptitude for managing logistics and detail oriented
- Strong communicator with amazing written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, metric-oriented, and the ability to tell the story from data
