Learning & Development Analyst

We are looking for an organized, data-driven, and tech-savvy Learning & Development Analyst to join our growing Learning & Development team based in Glendale, CA. This role will require you to be part Learning & Development administrator & team support, part data & analytics guru. More specifically, you'll be expected to maintain our global Learning Management System (LMS), which will involve close partnerships with cross-functional teams from Learning & Development, Employee Experience, and Enablement partners to ensure we're meeting the rapidly evolving learning needs of our businesses.


When you're not updating the LMS, you will be our Learning and development reporting go-to where you will assist members of our L&D and Employee Experience team with their reporting questions, as well as prepare metrics dashboards for our L&D specialists to share with leaders. Lastly, you'll also have the opportunity to support the project management needs of the Learning & Development team, which will allow you to create project plans, manage timelines & deadlines, and communicate across business lines on all initiatives for the team. These projects will involve implementing learning and development initiatives, or special projects with the potential to create enterprise-wide impact.

The ideal candidate will possess a can do attitude with a focus on attention to detail and quality and the ability to get things done in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

Learning Management System Administration:

  • Serve as the primary contact and a partner for creating, maintaining, and updating all training courses within our Learning Management System
  • Train and support learning and development specialists on the use of the LMS by creating training videos, updating quick reference guides, and hosting in-person/webinar demonstrations
  • Remain current on new learning technologies and best practices and recommend learning solutions that will improve the overall learner experience and drive improved performance
  • Support system implementations/updates and help our team compile new features and functions to be considered
  • Run learning reports on compliance on a regular basis
  • Monitor a shared learning inbox in order to triage and answer all troubleshooting questions

Data, Reporting & Analytics

  • Support system implementations/updates and help our team compile new features and functions to be considered
  • Pull reports on a regular and ad hoc basis to support the data requests of our various People teams, including Learning & Development, Shared Services, Employee Experience, and Talent Acquisition
  • Prepare spreadsheets and presentations for the team and for our HR business partners
  • Maintain a comprehensive Learning & Development dashboard inclusive of all learning and development programs and initiatives consistent with industry standards
  • Develop and administer all internal L&D surveys
  • Conduct data audits as it pertains to talent metrics and assist in identifying missing data and data inconsistencies

What You'll Need

  • 2-4 years of work experience in Human Resources, Training, Organization Development, or other related fields
  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related area
  • Working knowledge of databases and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred
  • Excellent analytic skills and high degree of comfort with detailed processes
  • Team player. Ability to collaborate and work effectively with peers, as well as internal and external customers
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and accountability
  • Innovative and creative thinker. Ability to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Advanced Microsoft Office/Suite proficiency, Google Suite, Google Data or Tableau Studio, Linkedin LEarning or on-demand content providers
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of emerging learning technologies and tools to maximize learner engagement
  • Experience with Learning Measurement & Evaluation
  • Instructional design experience and knowledge of adult learning principles
  • ATD Certification a plus
