We are looking for a rock-star Human Resources Operations Manager, who will be our first full-time HR hire and oversee our entire HR process. This role is for people looking for a new challenge and the ability to impact a dynamic and growing tech company.Â
You will work extensively with our team to inform, design, and deliver solutions that inspire and empower them to go further, faster. You are innovative in your thinking about connecting people, processes, and technology, and use strong analytical skills, process excellence, and systems knowledge to elevate the HR operational capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee Human Resources Operations programs, processes, and policies related to an employee lifecycle
- Treat employees as internal customers to increase employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention
- Act as a consultant to managers and employees on a day-to-day basis to answer questions about People Operations topics
- Lead the onboarding process to ensure new hires gain an understanding of the company’s culture, benefit plans, policies, and procedures
- Manage the HRIS system, including data updates of all employee information changes and additions
- Design and implement company employee policies; develop a scalable system to ensure all policies are updated and shared
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to maintain our Employee Handbook
- Implement and manage an internal mobility program, in collaboration with managers and our Talent team
- Monitor and report on all key HR metrics
- Conduct timely and accurate processing of payroll (using Rippling), including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices
Experience and Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or a related field
- Strong, functional Human Resource knowledge
- Proven track record of developing and managing a company’s HR Operations
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills to effectively support and connect with a diverse team
- Strong program management and reporting skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a deep ability to understand what motivates others
- Great organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize
