The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a trusted advisor to our people managers on awide variety of HR topics, helps guide change management efforts, and provides overall cohesion across departments and the organization at large. While consulting with our people managers and collaborating with the HR department, the HRBP must be comfortable moving between strategy and execution, depending on current needs in our quickly scaling organization. With a strong understanding of all areas and departments of our business, you will build collaborative andtrusting partnerships and be sought out for your HR and business expertise, objectivity and candor.

Who You Are

  • Seasoned HR professional with a wealth of experience to draw on and are excited to partner with our leaders to provide guidance through the lens of HR
  • Passionate about company culture, management best practices, and the benefits of performance coaching
  • Versatile, flexible and comfortable working in a high growth environment with quickly changing priorities
  • Data driven and leverage it to support the achievement of desired outcomes
  • Prior related human resources and management experience in a rapidly scaling organization
  • Core HR skills including performance, development, leadership, succession planning, compensation, employee relations and workplace law
  • Highly skilled in listening and synthesizing data from multiple perspectives and recommending effective HR solutions that support business goals
  • Leadership presence: high EQ, articulate, inspires confidence, resilient, consultative style and calm under pressure 
  • Strategic thinker who can see long-term goals and balance against short and intermediate-term needs
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals at all organizational levels
  • Proven experience managing change and executing action plans
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise appropriate judgment and discretion
  • 4-year college degree (BS/BA) in Business/Human Resources, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred, but not required

What You'll Do

  • Regularly meet and consult with the leaders for your designated teams/departments, providingHR expertise and guidance
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Resolve employment related issues and concerns with discretion and confidentiality
  • Facilitate requests for new positions, promotions and transfers; assist with job descriptions as needed and ensure proper communication across the organization
  • Help to drive talent initiatives, ensuring we are hiring and promoting individuals who are the right mix of aptitude, leadership, resilience and culture fit
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs
  • Communicate and champion HR initiatives assisting and leading change management efforts
  • Utilize survey data to work closely with managers to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Analyze metrics and trends to develop proactive solutions and programs in coordination with Managers and HR
  • Identify HR-related risks and communicate with the appropriate leaders
  • Contribute to creating, updating and disseminating HR communications and training materials/programs across departments and teams
