Job Description
We are looking for a talented Director Human Resources to join our team! This person will to manage all human resource functions, driving continuous improvement processes; partnering closely with all departments. Responsibilities

- Initiate and drive strategic decisions in support of critical business initiatives, Human Resources management planning, and overall company growth. Create standard and ad hoc reports
- Complies with federal, state and local employment law requirements by utilizing knowledge of legal requirements and government regulations regarding policies, procedures and reporting to ensure compliance
- Lead process improvement efforts, continuously evaluating for efficiencies, compliance gaps or policy conflicts and drive projects to mitigate those risks
- Develop trainings and provide coaching to employees and managers related to employee concerns, company programs, and professional development
- Continually assess and drive long-term organizational health, culture, diversity & inclusion
- Manages onboarding of all employees
- Work with finance team to compile and process regular payroll
- Quickly respond to inquiries by employees on benefits, payroll or general questions
- Administration of the 401(k) plan including enrollments, withdrawals, and contribution management
- Identify employee relations issues and provide potential solutions, coach and counsel managers and employees including PIPs, terminations, etc.
- Participate in benefits administration to include enrollments, claim resolution, change reporting and ad hoc requests
- Work with CFO to Develop philosophy on compensation programs
- Manage employment brand and work with recruiting on activities, including long-term talent pipeline, hiring strategy, and key recruiting metrics
- Manages annual ACA/1095 reporting
Skills/Attributes Required
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 8+ years’ experience in a HR Manager role
- 5+ years’ experience processing payroll
- Solid experience in a HR capacity preferably within a start-up technology industry
- Deep knowledge of Human Resources practices, Wage and Hour Laws, and general Benefits Administration for California, New York and Florida
- Experience using Namely HRIS/Payroll/Benefits portal a HUGE plus
- Strong coaching, development and people manager skills
- Executive presence; strong presentation skills.
- Ability to consult with and influence senior leaders
- Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Experience working across a national HR department a major plus
- Strong experience with Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing medium sized company HR functions
