Who We’re Seeking

The People Team plays a critical role in optimizing our employee experience at Omaze. We are seeking an enthusiastic and meticulous HR Coordinator to support our growing team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, are passionate about process and efficiency, and are eager to learn and grow in HR, we’d love to talk to you!

What You’ll Do:

  • Contribute to onboarding by inputting employee data into multiple platforms, assisting with orientation and creating a smooth new hire experience
  • Assist with the offboarding process by drafting termination documentation and scheduling exit interviews
  • Ensure employee records are updated, filed, and maintained in a timely and accurate manner
  • Update and maintain employee data and reporting across multiple people platforms including our HRIS, employee feedback and performance management systems and benefits portals
  • Support HR manager in completing state registrations
  • Collaborate with HR Manager to build and implement HR processes with an eye towards efficiency and scalability
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws
  • Support the implementation and operationalization of company policies and procedures
  • Assist with tracking and set-up for performance management and employee trainings
  • Partner with HR Manager and People Team to creatively solve problems and respond to employee requests, workflow, and HR questions
  • Partner with HR to process employee data changes including new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, manager changes, and other transactions as needed
  • Track and manage People Team calendar of events, trainings, and initiatives
  • Partner with the People Team to execute company events, employee recognition and work anniversary programs, and monthly newsletters
  • Provide support to the People Team on ad-hoc projects

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 1-2 years of human resources experience
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and problem solve 
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Thoughtful, self-aware, and trustworthy - you are passionate about people and colleagues and are committed to nurturing the culture of the team and company
  • You take your work seriously, but not yourself!

Location

The office is located in Marina del Rey with easy access to plenty of restaurants. We are close to LAX, beaches and Marina.
