SUMMARY / ABOUT THE JOB
We’re looking for an experienced Head of People to help define the future of Anduril’s culture and operations. You’ll work alongside Anduril’s leadership to build a stellar People Ops team to provide an excellent workplace experience for all Andurilians. You’ll oversee all aspects of people operations, inclusive of culture, benefits, onboarding, compensation philosophy, learning and development, career progression, retention, and HCM systems. This is a new and important role, and you’ll be a critical part of navigating our growth.
The ideal candidate has experienced rapid growth startups and is comfortable working both down in the details and up at the strategic level. You have seen the highs and lows of hyper growth companies, and you’ll help Anduril avoid the pitfalls. You should be comfortable navigating chaos and eager to tackle both the strategic questions (“should we open a satellite office?”) and the minutiae (“is our dental plan competitive?”) of growing a company.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
- 7+ years experience in a leadership role focused on HR, especially of quickly growing startups
- Proven leader and manager with strong communication skills to effectively interact with our entire organization
- Strong project management skills -- Absolutely must have the ability to manage competing priorities and successfully implement challenging, multi-dimensional programs
- Experience defining career ladders and compensation structures
- Approachable, high-EQ demeanor to handle sensitive personnel matters
- Deep knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Experience implementing and managing an HCM/HRIS
- Ability to define roles and recruit an incredible People Ops team
- Eager and excited to build a team from scratch... this is the ground floor of people operations at Anduril.
