Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Global Payroll and HRIS Manager to join our growing team at InvestCloud. The ideal candidate will be someone who can “own” the entire payroll process, help define and implement the Company’s HRIS strategy and drive continuous process improvements to effectively support continued high growth and international expansion. This position requires excellent organization, prioritization and communication skills, not to mention a strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll

· Independently and effectively manage all payroll operations related to employee compensation, bonuses, commissions, equity, benefits, etc.; this includes processing payroll for ~400 employees in the US, Canada, UK, and future offices, in a timely and accurate manner

· Perform monthly payroll close duties, including the preparation and review of period-end accruals and monthly journal entries for all payroll and benefits (including 401K, FSA and HSA) and preparation of reconciliations of payroll accounts

· Lead the design, implementation, and documentation of key process improvements and SOX compliant internal controls

· Maintain compliance with all necessary International, Federal, State, and local payroll tax laws

· Support annual financial, Worker’s Comp, 401k, and other audits as required; manage annual preparation and delivery of Form W-2s and 1099’s

· Respond to employee inquiries and requests regarding payroll matters ensuring the highest customer satisfaction

· Provide formal and ad-hoc analysis and reporting of payroll, benefits, and headcount

· Assist with projects related to total rewards, compensation analysis and benchmarking, bonus calculation and merit/salary planning

HRIS Administration

· Provide functional and technical expertise to help drive the successfully configuration, implementation and global adoption of Ceridian Workday

· Partner with internal constituents to continuously deliver system enhancements, improve workflows, increase functionality and introduce new modules as business requirements evolve

· Ensure data integrity, security and compliance with State, Federal and International (GDPR) regulations

· Create metrics, reports and dashboards that provide accurate and actionable insights related to workforce trends

What we look for

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business and/or equivalent combination of education

· 5-10 or more years of relevant multi-state and international payroll experience

· Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred

· Advanced expertise with cloud-based automated HRIS and payroll systems, preferably Ceridian Dayforce

· Highly analytical with a strong working knowledge of payroll and tax processes with multiple withholdings, benefits (health and welfare and retirement), garnishments, labor compliance, accounting principles related to payroll, and Federal, State and local regulations

· Capable of dealing effectively, diplomatically, courteously and confidentially with all levels of employees
