Director of People Operations

We are looking for a dynamic and inspiring Director of People Operations to join Enervee's Finance & People team. This position will report to the VP of Finance & People and will work in partnership with the executive leadership team to develop and lead Enervee’s people engagement and well-being programs. While Enervee remains to be a remote first distributed team, this role will be based in the Los Angeles area. We will reopen our headquarters as soon as it is safe to do so and our Director of People Operations needs to be able to stop by our HQ frequently.
How You Can Make An Impact
Enervee's Director of People Operations will build and foster trustworthy relationships with the team as well as work alongside leadership to create a supportive and inclusive environment where employees feel both challenged and appreciated
Collaborate with the executive leadership team to develop and establish an OKR process
Partner with leadership to create and execute a talent management strategy across the company (including but not limited to career development, learning and professional development, and compensation planning) to meet both career goals of the team and the organization's goals
Implement proactive employee relations strategies that preserve a trusting, and engaging environment
Make recommendations on new initiatives, programs or policies that should be implemented to improve the employee experience
Ensure the organization develops and maintains the culture, values and design it needs to reach its objectives while managing structural change
Manage self service content for all employee services and programs on internal intranet
Work closely with external legal counsel to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
Ensure that employment programs embody Enervee’s mission and values, while also complying with all legal requirements

Job requirements
What You Bring To The Team
5+ years of experience leading People Operations in small to medium sized SaaS/Technology companies
Experience in managing organization growth at scale; adept at dealing with a lot of ambiguity and changes; ability to quickly pivot and prioritize in a fast paced and lean environment
Technology savvy with strong proficiency in Google Workspace, HRIS, and experienced in choosing, evaluating and building an HR Tech Stack
Independent self-starter capable of proposing and implementing solutions to ever changing demands
Confidence in your ability to effectively challenge leaders and/or norms in order to drive the best outcomes for both the organization and employees
Demonstrated ability to coach and counsel leaders to best lead their departments
Ability to communicate effectively and build relations with all employees across the organization
Experience in managing complex HR programs, including policy design and development
Passion for saving energy and having a positive impact on the environment
