Who we are looking for

Promenade, formerly known only as BloomNation, is growing rapidly and looking for a Director of People Operations to join our People team. As the Director, People Operations, you will provide support to all team members on various HR-related matters. You'll be a strategic adviser to leadership, a partner to managers, and an ally to every person at Promenade. This leadership role will be responsible for designing and deploying the company’s strategy for candidate and employee experience; you can expect to own the entire lifecycle: from recruiting, hiring, and onboarding to talent development and performance management. Report directly to the Co-Founder and COO you will partner with cross-functional Team Leaders to build and execute exciting programs and strategies that drive our business forward as we evolve, develop and cultivate our people and our culture.

Specifically, you will…

Build and implement a talent strategy for multiple business unit executives, anticipating trends and complex challenges and opportunities, and ensure integration with wider Promenade mission and strategy

Establish parameters, policies, and processes for managing title, level, compensation, pay equity, and diversity and inclusion

Build and institutionalize efficient recruiting and hiring processes

Develop and deploy onboarding programs

Create a culture of real-time feedback and implement systems for talent development and performance management

You will excel if you have...

10+ years of experience building, leading, and managing People teams

Prior experience building the People Ops function at a rapidly scaling company

Excellent communication skills and ability to coach, influence, and partner with various levels of employees, with high integrity

Superb judgment, strong organizational skills, and a sense of urgency

Attention to detail and the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities

BA or BS degree in a related field, or directly relevant experience
