Benefits Administrator

We are currently seeking a Benefits Administrator to join our growing HR team at our headquarters in West Hollywood. Reporting to the Director, People Operations, this position will play a critical role in developing and administering best in class benefits for our organization. Ideal candidates will have experience with start-up organizations and have an HR specialist background in total rewards and benefits.
What you’ll do:
- Evaluate employee benefits policies to assess their overall offerings and competitive edge
- Lead benefits administration for new hires and all company annual open enrollment
- Administer and monitor 401(k) participation and enrollment
- Conduct discrimination testing and provide recommendations to executives
- Act as the main point of contact for all external vendors and brokers for benefits and 401(k)
- Respond to all employee inquiries relating to benefits
- Monitor government regulations, legislation and benefit trends to ensure compliance in all areas
- Create and file yearly ACA reporting
- Manage EDD, LOA, FMLA/CFRA, unemployment & workers compensation insurance, claims and compliance
Experience you’ll bring:
- High level knowledge of benefits in a high growth company with at least 250 employees and expanding
- Proven success researching, recommending and implementing procedures, guidelines, and policies based on strong reporting and analytics
- Ability to prioritize workload, embrace the sense of urgency, innovation and resourcefulness, handle multiple tasks at once, and has a savant-like attention to detail
- Experience with the selection and implementation of an HRIS system
- Experience working with Namely HRIS preferred, but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong technical knowledge of excel required including development of spreadsheets with formulas, functions, pivot tables, lookups
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build personal
- A Bachelor’s Degree and/or 3- years of related experience in and/or training in Benefits with a demonstrated level of increasing responsibility and complexity
