With over $3 billion deployed to 10,000+ brands, Clearco is the only platform offering both Cash Advance and Invoice Funding in one place. Whether you're securing inventory, funding ads, or launching your next big product, Clearco helps you move faster with confidence.

We are looking for a GTM Engineer to own and evolve the technical backbone of our go-to-market motion. You will sit in RevOps and work closely with Sales, Marketing, Founder Success, and Product to design, build, and maintain GTM workflows and integrations. A major focus of this role will be building and scaling programs in Clay (data acquisition, enrichment, scoring, routing, and activation). At the same time, you’ll work across our broader GTM stack (CRM, marketing automation, sequencing tools, data warehouse, and enrichment vendors) to create reliable, scalable systems that drive pipeline and revenue.

What you’ll do

  • Design and build Clay-based GTM workflows.

  • Architect Clay flows to ingest, enrich, and score accounts and contacts from multiple data sources.

  • Maintain and improve Clay tables, recipes, and automations for use cases like prospecting, expansion plays, and signal-based outreach.

  • Implement quality checks, monitoring, and logging so sales and marketing can trust the outputs.

  • Operationalize GTM signals and programs.

  • Translate GTM strategies (ICP, territories, plays, ROE) into technical workflows and data models.

  • Turn “signal intelligence” into practical lists, triggers, and automations that AEs/BDRs/FS can use every day.

  • Partner with RevOps and GTM leaders to experiment, measure results, and iterate quickly.

  • Integrate Clay with the broader GTM stack.

  • Build and maintain integrations between Clay and tools like Salesforce/HubSpot, sequencing/engagement platforms, enrichment tools, and internal data sources.

  • Ensure data flows are consistent, deduplicated, and aligned with GTM definitions and attribution rules.

  • Work with analytics/BI to make sure GTM programs are measurable end-to-end.

  • Own GTM tooling quality and reliability.

  • Implement guardrails for data quality (validation, dedupe, error handling) across Clay and connected systems.

  • Help debug and resolve production issues impacting GTM teams and propose long-term fixes.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams.

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering on data contracts, event definitions, and new features that affect GTM systems.

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Founder Success to understand their workflows and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

  • Enable GTM teams on how and when to use the tools you build, including lightweight training and documentation.

Who you are

  • Technical GTM builder.

  • 3–6+ years in a technical GTM, RevOps, growth engineering, sales engineering, or data engineering role supporting Sales/Marketing/CS.

  • Strong experience with data workflows and APIs (REST, webhooks) and comfort working with JSON payloads and integrations.

  • Experienced with Clay.

  • Hands-on experience with Clay is strongly preferred (or very similar no/low-code data tools such as Make, Zapier, Retool, or internal workflow builders).

  • You know how to design robust, maintainable flows rather than one-off hacks, and you can explain trade-offs clearly.

  • Data- and systems-minded.

  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data modeling concepts (e.g., how GTM entities like accounts, contacts, opportunities, and events should relate).

  • Comfortable working with enrichment, scoring, and routing logic in a way that is both accurate and explainable to non-technical partners.

  • Operational and pragmatic.

  • You care about reliability, observability, and documentation, not just “making it work once.”

  • You can take ambiguous GTM ideas and turn them into clear requirements, MVP solutions, and iterative improvements.

  • Collaborative communicator.

  • You’re able to explain complex technical concepts in simple language.

  • You enjoy partnering with non-technical stakeholders and incorporating feedback from Sales, Marketing, FS, and Product.

Nice to have

  • Experience working in a high-growth B2B SaaS or fintech environment.

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce or HubSpot administration and data models.

  • Familiarity with common GTM tools (Gong, Outreach, Customer.io, enrichment vendors, etc.).

  • Experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or another scripting language for custom connectors or data transformations.

Why this role is exciting

  • You’ll be at the center of how we operationalize signal intelligence and modern prospecting.

  • You’ll have meaningful ownership over Clay and our GTM workflows, while still collaborating closely with Product and Engineering.

  • The systems you build will directly impact pipeline generation, win rates, and revenue.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
