Who is Rainforest?

Rainforest is an early stage payments-as-a-service startup that has developed a solution that makes monetizing payments for vertically focused software platforms fair and simple.

We focus on small-to-mid sized platforms that want to add value to their small business customers through embedded payments — and want to do so without adding operational or regulatory burdens or costs.

Led by a successful repeat fintech founder with deep knowledge of the industry, and with venture backing from a Top 10 VC firm, Rainforest is well positioned to make an impact in the payments-as-a-service space, and we're looking for new team members who want to be a part of this journey!

What are we looking for?

As our first GTM Engineer here at Rainforest, you’ll architect and own the systems, data flows, and processes that fuel our go-to-market motion. This role combines the responsibilities traditionally found in Sales Ops, RevOps, Marketing Ops, and HubSpot Admin roles. You’ll live inside our GTM tech stack (Clay, Apollo, HubSpot, LinkedIn, Ocean.io rb2b, etc.), designing workflows that generate more qualified leads, increase efficiency across the sales cycle, and enable the revenue team to move faster.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you’ll partner directly with Sales, Marketing, and Leadership to turn data into pipeline and strategy into execution.

What are some of the high-impact opportunities you’ll tackle?
  • Owning and optimizing our GTM tech stack (HubSpot CRM + Marketing Hub, Apollo, Clay, Ocean.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.)

  • Designing, automating, and managing outbound and inbound workflows to consistently generate qualified opportunities.

  • Ensuring clean, structured, and enriched data flows across systems for targeting, reporting, and forecasting.

  • Building workflows, automations, and playbooks to shorten deal cycles and reduce manual effort for AEs.

  • Supporting campaign execution, tracking, attribution, and funnel reporting to maximize ROI.

  • Creating dashboards and insights for pipeline health, funnel conversion, and revenue forecasting.

  • Continuously experimenting with tools and workflows to scale Rainforest’s GTM motion.

This opportunity is for you if you have / are:
  • 4+ years of experience in Revenue Ops or GTM systems roles in a B2B SaaS company.

  • Strong expertise in HubSpot CRM + Marketing Hub administration and workflow automation.

  • Hands-on experience with outbound prospecting tools (Apollo, Clay, Ocean.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.).

  • Proven track record of building lead generation programs and driving measurable pipeline growth.

  • Ability to translate business goals into data models, automations, and scalable processes.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • A builder mindset: scrappy, curious, and energized by creating structure in fast-moving environments.

  • Bonus: experience in fintech, payments, or embedded finance SaaS.

We offer a comprehensive health benefits package, unlimited paid time off, paid parental leave, a fun and flexible working environment, and continuously invest in our people and our culture.

If you require any accommodations throughout the pre-employment process, please contact our HR team at [email protected]

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
