Graphic Designer (Hybrid)

About This Role:

The Graphic Designer creates impactful visual concepts that inspire, inform, and elevate our brand for the company’s sales and marketing materials and promotions. The designer develops overall layouts and production design and ensures brand consistency across all mediums. Collaborates with stakeholders to deliver high-quality visual solutions while staying updated on industry trends. Effectively communicates design concepts and manages project timelines to ensure deadlines are met.

Essential Job Functions/Tasks:

• Provides layout and production artwork for the creation of flyers, brochures, instructional documents, educational materials, product packaging, catalogs, environmental graphics, social graphics, and more.
• Proofs all work before circulating for approval.
• Follows Hunter Creative Development Brand Standards in all design work. Prepares electronic art files for digital media and print-on-demand. Navigates content libraries as needed to complete assigned projects.
• Utilizes current Adobe graphic design software on a Mac platform. Demonstrates knowledge of different file and font formats, color separation, pre-press, and printing processes.
• Meets with project requestors to determine objectives and uses research to gather background information. Recommends the best approach, style, and technique to meet clients’ business objectives.
• Collaborates with the copywriting team, photography manager, and other designers to develop concepts and content for global audiences.
• Works closely with the International Marketing and Sales teams and outside sources to translate marketing materials. Reviews finished projects to ensure consistency and accuracy in all languages.
• Prepares electronic art files for printing, reprinting, and distribution through project management systems, content management systems, and websites.
• Keeps track of and communicates statuses of current work using product management software (Wrike). Maintains an established file management process throughout each project. Verifies and proofs all work for approval before publishing.        

Education/Training Required and Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field or a combination of education and relevant work experience.

Experience Required and Preferred:

• Minimum two years of experience as a graphic designer.

What you Bring:

• Strong knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Knowledge in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Express is a plus.
• Proficient with photo editing and retouching using Adobe Photoshop.
• Proficient with modifying illustrations and line art using Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficient in creating paragraph styles, pagination, and tables of content using Adobe InDesign.
• Ability to learn new graphic skills on the job and through self-guided learning material.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with members across the organization.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem solving, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work individually and in a team environment.

The hourly rate for this opportunity ranges from $31.75 to $36.00

The Company complies with all federal/local/state regulations in regard to pay. The above represents the expected hourly range for this job requisition. Compensation offered to the successful candidate will be determined by qualifications, prior experience, other job-related factors, and geographic location.
